Healthcare professionals (HCPs) have an important role in helping their patients reduce their risk by addressing modifiable risk factors for CHD. Patients should be encouraged and supported to quit smoking, increase their physical activity, and make positive dietary and lifestyle changes to help better manage their heart health and target risk factors such as cholesterol.
